The injectors in the SB8R are made by Webber. They are the same as in the Ducati 748, 916, 996. |

The Throttle Bodies are 59mm ubits made for BIMOTA are are not found on any other vehicle .
The injectors are 6 BAR single units horizontal within the TB ( Throttle Body) and are made by Webber Morelli as is the ignition system.
The ECU is made for BIMOTA by MicroTech and is BIMOTA SB8R/SB8RS specific.
The Suzuki TL cylinder heads are match ported to accept/fit the 59mm TBs that BIMOTA has on the SB8R/SB8RS and Gobert replica.
The BIMOTA SB8K Santa Monica uses completely different 52mm Throttle Bodies with ECU controlled "tilting" shower type injectors unique to the model only.
I hope this helps.

Just correct a couple of things datoys1 wrote. Not trying to stomp on any toes but just want the right information to be stated.
The ecu is made by Magneti Marelli for the Fiat 500 series and was configured to work on the Tl1000 motor for Bimota. Microtec tuned the ecu for Bimota. The TL heads on the SB8R are the same as on the USA TL1000r bikes and are not port matched. |

Hi,
I guess the Weber Marelli fuel injectors for the SB8RS have the reference IWP069...Anyone could confirm ?
Can those injectors be cleaned in ultrasound bath ?
Thanks,

Not easy to find this kind of info...

Sorry just read the thread.
I can confirm on the SB8rs the injectors are Webber IW724's
They are usually found on all 4v 888 ducati's.
Information via my mechanic. |
