did you use thrust washers trev ?
or did you get the big end eye ground down ?
what year yz250 ? did you use yz pin and bearing ?
thats all i could find was yz and cr and a few other 250 mx rod kits but none the exact size or they were exact size and no room for thrust washers .?
ive had then rebuilt now but i will strip it end of next year and up grade the rods so i can run on pre mix |

They can go both ways no problem
I have had gearboxes with no end float
and wrong shims fitted too
But if it is a running bike before
it should be OK again you would think ?

I like what you are doing! Just tagging the thread, so I can see how you progress.
I've got a 1RK TZ250 frame (parallel twin) that I'm going to pop a RZ250, with banshee 486 cc upgrades into. We all need a bit of two stroke action in our lives... When it comes to these things, two strokes and I'm done.
Are those V-due motors wider than 90 degrees? sure look well spread out, and two cranks by the look of it? Interesting, but porky.
Cheers. |

i think they are 90 deg and yes 2 cranks
both pistons at the top and fire at the same time
like a big bang 2 stroke
this was only about cranks and what i was doing with the engine
full build thread is on the2strokeforum |
