Thanks 2bims for putting the tesi sellers pic's on whilst I was away.

Well...........It finally showed up today..........Typically quick postage from Italy....although the online tracking service was typically Italian.....they allow you to provide email and mobile phone numbers so that you can be provided with constant updates as to its journey to you....upon delivery at 10.10am thi s morning...no updates had been recieved at all ...and online checking showed 25% DELIVERY...STILL IN MILAN......One day...just one day....Italy will wake up to the admin and computer world.......
Item came almost completely constructed....barring the bolting on of the glass plinth.........Have to also say though that it was a miracle it arrived in one piece......only 2 small "fragile" stickers were on the box....and it had 3 holes punched in various places from impacts en route...the glass plinth was packed flat against one of the sides......and simply schrunching up lots of newspaper for packaging is a bit last century........Happy to report that it made it through in one piece...unlike someone else on here that also ordered one.....

Yep, mine arrived today also, although my tracking was showing 75% complete when the postman arrived! The base on mine has obviously received an impact on one corner which has resulted in some slight chipping and a 7 cm crack radiating from the corner . I have emailed Linea Moto and hopefully they will send a better protected base. Other than that it looks pretty good. _________________ Bimota DB1, Bimota YB5, Bimota YB6 Exup, Bimota YB9 SR, Ducati NCR Replica, Moto Guzzi 750 S3, Honda CR750 race replica, Seeley-Suzuki TR500 |

Thats a bummer Paul......Although I reckon that LineaMoto will sort you out......yeh....have said enough about packaging....and lucky to have mine in one piece....did you find your Mini Carbon Fibre Bracelet in the box also??
A few more piccies......My OCD was playing havoc with 3 small alloy bolts on the rear of the model that werent allen key headed....now admittedly they are very similar to the 4 actual bolts that hold the exhaust shield fastening in place on a full size Bimota just below the footplates...I had to change them out for some SS M4 allen headed bolts......
Ah.....thats Better.....
Nice billet alloy fuel filler cap....with matching threaded insert in the tank/seat unit...
Matching engraved numbered "dials" to go with the velvet covered hand wallet.....
Now I've just got to get the silencers, wheels and front forks bolted in place and shes ready for the road.....(also shows you the wheelbase difference between a Ducati 900SS and a DB1)........
