I got chain grease on the rear wheel of my YB10. Tried using alcohol to clean it but it's a PIA. What can I use that will not damage the wheel center paint or the polished rim? _________________ 1991 Bimota YB10

Hi George, we have something called Jizer over here in the UK. I guess you will have that or another sort of degreaser there. I have sent you a pm. _________________ What, Jonny's gone! |

Mr Sheene - it's a spray on multi purpose polish ... or Pledge which is similar.
Or paraffin _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Pledge as in furniture cleaner? Interesting.
Ok, plenty of venues to explore here. Thanks a great deal guys. _________________ 1991 Bimota YB10

I use Plexus on the whole bike. It's expensive compared to Pledge, but I think it's worth the money. Most Bike shops in the US should carry Plexus. |

I use S100 cleaner polish. It cleans well and leaves a polish that is easy to clean. _________________ Spike C.

Just checked on Plexus - looks solid. At about $20/can its more than twice than Pledge. I will try both. My concern is the white finish on the wheel centers. Will Pledge cause any discoloration? _________________ 1991 Bimota YB10

Plexus can be used on the entire bike including the white wheels. I've used Pledge on painted surfaces also, but I've gone back to Plexus. The Plexus is just better, less streaks, less greasy feel, and shines better in my view. It is ridiculous at over $20 per spray can but it works great. |

It's a shame you're in the us or mericaland you call it. Mr Sheene is great and you can get in a pound shop. You might have a "multi surface polish" in spray can over there ... have a look around _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Just googled Mr Sheen - seems you can buy it anywhere but the US. _________________ 1991 Bimota YB10

I just ordered a kit on Amazon after reading all the reviews. The kit is a bit of everything so it will allow me to check out their range. Thanks all. _________________ 1991 Bimota YB10
