Hi guys, Looking at buying this SB6 and the fairing is a very different design. In 2 parts, different vents- top & sides & different shape. The bike is a 1996 model # 1113; imported into New Zealand from England in 2004.
Have looked at 100s of photos in Google images but no matches. Can anyone help? In the UK for the TT & ManxTT so will shout you a beer.
How do you upload photos to the site. _________________ Ron

Pictures might help of the fairing, Can be difficult to upload but if you email I will can post.
Only one I can think of is the Corse mod one. Think that had bigger intakes. |

Could it be a SB6R rather than a SB6 ? _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

I've seen a couple modified so that the bottom part attaches separately. Makes it easier to remove. Personally I don't like it though _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Have a SB6R in my lounge, so know that fairing. This one has 2 vents per side; bolts to the main frame spar about halfway up; splits horizontal at that level; has 2 triangular upper vents below the mirrors & a step up above the mirror. Hopefully will be able to load photos soon _________________ Ron

That fairing is from a different bike entirely, it's not Bimota.
Standard tail pipes though.
With the clocks / headlight / mirrors / mirror stays and fairing gone it might have been crash damage ... all the pics from one side too. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
