My plastic Suzuki clutch cover is a candidate for replacement. Came across this neat application:

Any thoughts or recommendations?

I'd go for the black billet cover, not really a fan of blinging a bike

Maybe the clear part would discolour over time with hot dirty oil?

Took my SB8R on a maiden run and after 11 fun filled miles went from a candidate for a replacement clutch cover to a recipient of a clutch cover. Apparently the original was in a worse shape than expected and pissed oil all over my rear tire. Luckily I was past the twisties, otherwise I would not be this calm.

Anyhow, a billet solid cover with a raised "b" all black should be here in 3 weeks. Pricey little bastard at $193 plus shipping. The plain one was under $60 but I don't foresee replacing this one again so I splurged.

I used to have it on my first bimota as well (also imported from the US)
Absolutely a great optical improvement to your bike, Very Happy

Looks great, but I already went with the billet. Frankly, the SB8R is dripping with so much sexiness I am not sure if it needs any more bling... However, I never say "never". I may go with clear cover in the future but for now I just want to get my bike on the road... Mad

Still waiting for my billet clutch cover. After June 6th, it will go onto the third month. I decided roll the dice and go with an OE unit. I checked high and low for other sources on these covers and the only ones I can find are factory parts. Again, if anyone has a lead its greatly appreciated. In the meantime, the BCR is my only trusty steed and to think that I was entertaining ideas of selling it Embarassed

I sort of gave up on the billet cover - I can't the guy to even respond to me now. Went and ordered one from partzilla. They were quick enough to charge my credit card while promising me the part by June 7th. Around that time I started getting notices that there's a delay in the order ETA. Now pushed back to the end of June. Anyone in the States can point me in the right direction? Shipping from UK/Europe is quite costly....
