Hi,
Just had a new paint job on the SB6 mark 1 took it out for a spin and the hump at the back of the seat fell off and couldn't be found.
Anybody know where I could get one, or get one made?

Thanks
Duncan

Part Number seems to be 502670030........And Paolo Girotti of BimotaClassicParts seems to have one in stock....although he hasnt priced it on his website there is a picture of one.....The Part number refers to both parts of the seat under the same number...his picture just shows the bump stop.....Speaks, reads and writes English......

I've just checked the other 2 known Dealers in Bimota parts of that era in Germany...and neither is showing any stock of that item.....Thus maybe Paolo is your only choice.......In the World........Other than hanging around on ebay the world over and waiting for one to show up....Put a post in "spare Parts wanted" also and see if anyone on this Forum has a spare

I had one made in fibreglass by Jack Blacoe a couple of years ago not sure if he is one the forum but he was a leading light in Bimota bodywork about ten years ago and his work is very good.

Hi BMVIN,

I am looking at getting a one piece seat made that will go all the way from the tank to the back. The seat hump from bimotaparts is £200.

Do you have details for Jack Blacoe?

Thanks
Duncan

Yup...it may seem dear....but if he's the only person in the world selling one?? Might seem cheap....and I'd bet if it was a New Ducati, Suzuki, Yamaha piece etc...it would be around that price also.....Might hurt you to buy it...but if its the only solution??

I got tired of waiting for another one and bought the one from bimotaparts. Brand new.
Fitted and the kick us changed so hopefully this one won't fall off

Make sure the cheap camlock on the seat unit is ok and doesn't loosen itself

Yes, that's how it fell off. The lock came loose and the hump blew away. I changed the lock from an old gsxr.
