Hi,
Do we have any members living in Jersey?
There is a motorcycle auction there on Saturday 30th July with a couple of nice bikes but have stipulations on bidding and collection of bikes on the day.
So as I cannot attend just wondering if anyone is going or would like to go to bid on a few bikes for me!?
PM me if there is any interest
Many Thanks

You can register as an absentee bidder so don't have to be there on the day.
Have you called them with regards alternative collection dates for absentee bidders? |

Yes called them and arranged something with them if I win anything.
If you phoned them on Friday they will accept phone bids so call you prior to the lots coming up.
Problem is transport back from Jersey, checked out 3 carriers and carriage from the island to Portsmouth is £££££ compared to carriage back to my home
Be interesting to see what the V Due goes for..

Hi
I did bid on the 5 bikes that were decent
Lost the V Due by one bid - I finished at £16,000 and it went for £16,200
Not a bad price for a carbed bike but there was 15% buyers premium one top which makes it about right in price.
The other RG,s - RD,s went for strong cash and too much for me I am afraid

Its the one off the facebook page so can only assume it is.
https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=auction%20jersey%20bimota%20vdue
But who knows .
Problem is not all vdues are equal.
There are original injections, original injections modified to indirect injection, original injections modified to carbs, Yes they have the fuelling sorted but none of the other issues.
Then there are the reworkd Piero injections, trofeo's and EF's which have a host of new engine parts least of which is a new set of crank case's !! |

Na this is a different bike. The bike that sold was deffo a carb with digi clocks and standard exhaust (quad silencers) a nice bike. Frame number sticker was absent, as was any real history an at 19k if was gonna come into the mainland, an a very good price paid. Wish I sold mine over there, now knowing how much money was floating about 😄 _________________ 2SMOKE |
