Okay.....no issues all still good.
Further research dictates that ONLY the DB9 exhaust is a straight fit as the manifolds are different between the 1098 and the 1198 as are the bolt positioning on the exhaust head side.....aswell as the actual opening into the pipe.Therefore DB7 and 8 use a different exhaust manifold and apparently it can be altered but it it is not an easy job
Although the 1098r headers ARE the same ......like most things Ducati the r version was the next step up in engine development. ...so a new secondhand OEM 1098r with 5 Kmis is leaving Holland this week in order to be chopped and coerced into a different route. _________________ On an Island in the River Thames!
