I have got a rare DB1 chain guard as seen in the parts book. I will keep it for my DB1 but if anyone is interested I could have some made to Bimota standards of glasswork.
If anyones keen let me know directly and I will see about the costs of having one made.
Regards
Gavin

Hi Shay,
Gavin (above) sold his DB1 earlier this year, but mine came with a brand new one that the prev owner had found somewhere recently. I'll investigate and let you know... _________________ DB1 . Ducati F1 . Ducati TT2 . Ducati 450D . Guzzi LM1 . Morini Kanguro |

Bimota Classic Parts has the chain guard in stock according to their website. Not cheap, but where else would you get one _________________ Bimota DB1, Bimota YB5, Bimota YB6 Exup, Bimota YB9 SR, Ducati NCR Replica, Moto Guzzi 750 S3, Honda CR750 race replica, Seeley-Suzuki TR500 |

thanks for that Stratos, as far as Bimota classic parts is, well...insisting on a courier just makes the cost of ordering small bits from him somewhat prohibitive I was going to order one of his mugs, but after his preferred shipping is added to the cost $90 for a coffee mug? That's currently around 60 quid.
Shame really, but the only way I will buy from him is to go to Italy and post or bring back in my luggage.
At least I'd get a holiday out of it |
