And this company offers carbon parts for DB6 for pretty much all bits......

I suppose the "ultimate" lightweight Db6 would of course be one with carbon fibre frame, rear swingarm, and front forks and bottom yoke all built into one.....Believe that there was only one made though...

That is stunning but the carbon IMHO should have a high gloss finish. That way you really get that "bling" factor. Smile

Yeh, I'd tend to agree that a high gloss gel coat would have made the carbon really stand out for what it is.....apparently it was made by an Italian company that makes racing cycle bikes, including Bimota logo'd cycling bikes, and just this one special was made to test the market.....no price indications though....wonder where the bike is now.......???

Me too. It would be a very nice bike to have but I can just imagine the price!

Possibly would have at least been double the original price...Bimota did a DB7 Oro Nero which had all carbon frame and swingarm.....carbon panels but then so did the DB7....few engine tweaks and GPS dash...and I think that was 30,000GBP More than the standard DB7......this DB6 has carbon forks and yokes so heaven knows........

I read an article recently that said the new 1299 Panigale Superleggera will have a full carbon fibre frame and swing arm... sounds expensive too

As if the current $50K - $60K US wasn't expensive enough already... lol
