Shamelessly borrowed from Moto Corse's facebook page....but I've always had a secret guilty pleasure for the Moto Corse version of the Db4....whereby they strip the enture thing down from new...allegedly apply 24carat gold plate to the frame, swingarm, clip-ons, yokes, footpegs, exhaust hanger, rear subframe etc etc....then upgrade the motor to 944 big bore kit and flatslide carb it and then add Moto Corses titanium "roar of thunder" drainpipe tailcan.......then a new paint job and beige suede leather seat.....If I was ever to see one for sale I would be tempted.......They even ditch the anchor antera wheels and throw in some techno magnesium five spokes...

Note the extra bracing they add between the frame rails at the headstock and on the swinging arm near the chain adjusters....

I'd even be partial to their treatment of the DB5R in the same sort of way...

Yes they do lovely work. I have them on Facebook. They had photos up of a Corse sb6 some time ago. It had some very nice additions on it... FCR's, special airbox and tank, braced swinger, Machesini wheels, gorgeous paint job

I do like the db4 Corse, but can't help thinking about the extra weight of the gold frame Shocked

They have a used version of that for Sale...a snip at 27,000gbp....But actually better than that bike as they have upgraded the front forks to hlins...and it has a full titanium Moto Corse exhaust system on it......which bought seperately is a snip at 2700gbp...plus shipping plus taxes plus import duty etc etc...meanwhile their titanium Oil cover plate is a mere 120gbp.....

Just a shame that such a company exists and can make and sell such heavily modded Bimotas at such prices....when Bimota could have done that themselves.....hard to say this...but methinks in their latter years Bimota were underpricing compared to the latest specials from Ducati,MV Agusta, Norton etc etc...selling at high prices creates an illusion of mega rich exclusivity...for which there is always a market

I have been buying the "Ducati" magazine from Amazon Japan and the Moto Corse adverts for the Tesi 3d's are amazing. I have just bought a Moto Corse petrol cap off eBay for my 996 for £30- don't need it but it is a thing off beauty? And I am very tempted with their leather keyfobs.

Not Motocorse but a race kitted DB4 with that wonderful(ly load!) exhaust.

Nice! 2bims, do you have a link to their facebook page? I'm wondering if they were responsible for this Furano I have here? It would be nice to know, it was modified for FCR's prior to the gold anodising being applied.
Cheers. Ralph
