I took the SB8R on another run today. Bike performed faultlessly, handles like a wet dream. However, I found riding it takes a toll on my 51 y.o.+ body. My short frame and reach don't mesh well with the tall tank. The rear sets are high enough where I can feel my 10 year old knee injury knocking.

That being said, this is not a call of distress. I don't foresee myself riding it often enough, especially with my YB10 getting ready to be put back on the road and my Boxer Cup Replika as used on long distance rides. In fact, I don't mind holding onto the bike until December. Thats when I do my Toys for Tots charity ride. I took the bike to a Porsche show today (google Supercar Sunday). It got more looks and photos than many of the featured marquee.

Bike is very clean, never been down. 6700 miles on the clock, will be climbing as I will continue riding it. Came from a local collection in Southern Cal into possession of Gard Hollinger (Arch Motorcycles fame). Gard rebuilt the front caliper and went through the seals on the motor (I have documentation) and I replaced the clutch cover with an aluminum piece from Vanzuki. Guarantees to take care of the weak spot on the TL-R engines.

It has Arrow exhaust, stock exhaust is included in the sale. Black Anteras are from the S model and really change the look of the bike. Tires are great, everything works as it should. Current California registration with a clear title in hand. Feel free to ask for specific details or additional photos.

For those interested to look at the bike in person, test rides are welcome but with full price amount in cash in my hand. Long distance buyers can pay via wire transfer; I will make myself available to your shipper for pick up. SOLD

Here are few pics after today's ride:

Posted more pics of the SB8R. We got a sunny reprieve last weekend so off I went. I forgot to mention that the bike is equipped with Evoluzione fuel trimmer, an option pretty hard to find here in the States. I will also include the stock exhaust, new OE Suzuki clutch cover, owners manual. Thanks for looking

Sorry for the silence, I'm not getting forum notifications like I used to. The scribble on the front is a Evoluzione.net symbol in the outline of the bike. Previous owner was friends with the propietor and put the name of the company on the bike. I never bothered to remove it.

I recon that too Very Happy

It is a road going SB8R with zero issues, very tasteful upgrades (which are reversible for the purists) and is currently registered. so far very low interest but I figured there would be as the Bimota brand is not as widespread as it is in Europe. Luckily, there are no circumstances that require me to get rid of it in a hurry but I am open to reasonable offers.

Didn't realize that it takes that much to ship a bike to Australia. I figured in a consolidated container about $1500 max. Do you have to pay duties over there?

To be honest I don't know specifics. Not too sure about the actual shipping, then import duties, then I'd have to get it 2000 k's from Sydney to me, and then hefty stamp duty to get it registered

Hey Buddy.

Kind of feels like me. I don't ride mine much and if I do I feel it but I can't see me selling it. It's too much of a work of art. I do like the black wheels, mine as a " spesh " has black wheels anyway. I noticed the mirrors are no standard and the front brake calipers are six potters again non standard.
Good luck. You know of course the day after you have sold it you will regret it.
getting my YB10 ready for the better weather. Got a new rear hugger and the mirrors are on order.

BB, I'm getting ready my YB10 also! Just got the tank back, had it lined. California gas contains 10% ethanol which helps to destroy plastic tank and gums up carbs.

The previous owner had done mods including mirrors, rear sets, wheels, exhaust,Evoluzione fuel management and brakes. Brakes are 6 pot ISR units, stopping is incredible. I can only ride one at a time, and YB10 fits me much better. I'd hate to see any of my bikes just to deteriorate from sitting...
