Deep pockets and brave people need only apply

You'd at least think the dealer would dry the rain drops off it wouldn't you? We all know Bimotas don't like to get wet.........

Always a tricky decision what to write...if anything....I think as its a dealer hes got it about right....restoration project...no word of whether its complete or running....which means its neither...non original front end, yokes forks etc...I think if he added words it would only highlight what a task and expense that would be required to finish it...which wouldn't work in his favour..But then look at the price this is up to...none bimota but far from complete.....no wheels, brakes tank or bodywork, no original motor etc et...and the price so far....Yikes

For any restoration project...especially limited run stuff like Bimotas...which scarce to non-existant spare parts I would only ever consider a restoration if the bike was complete and assembled...rather than someone who started it...lost bits...sold it on...who then lost a few more bits and sold on...etc etc

I'd agree. Those missing parts are a pain to find and expensive to replace. Much better if you get a complete bike AND spares AND all the original parts. Dream time.

Unless you have the tools and equipment to tackle virtually everything I can "see" in those photos, you'll be spending triple the asking price to complete the project...if it is even feasible.

It would be nice to try if it was significantly cheaper but...

They must be smoking something, if they think they can get the asking price for that kb1.
That front end is plain nasty, and god knows what other bits have been messed with. Rolling Eyes
