I'm after an SB6 or SB6r, any help leading to the purchase of one of these would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jon, I bought my SB6R a couple of months ago. At that time 2 appeared on that auction site within a week of me buying. One was a 2002 SB6R with less than 800 miles on it and had been a damaged recorded insurance claim at some point. The front mudguard looked to have a large crack through it. The bike didn't meet it's reserve but I did find the same bike on a trade website and the guy was wanting 6K for it .. Ouch Exclamation Exclamation
The other bike went for around 4K and if memory serves me correctly this also was had some damage on it.
I had 3 separate offers at the TT for mine this year. A guy from Denmark was wanting it to race back home, a IOM local and a guy from Birmingham who has since contacted me again wanting to buy as it is a mint bike with 8K on it.

Kojay Very Happy

I went to look at the first SB6R you mentioned, down in Devon(for the other half). He wanted nearly 6K for it. It was an absolute nail, worst one I ever saw. I offered him 2.5K for it to break for parts. Needless to say, he was not amused Laughing
Hope you had a great time at the TT Wink
