Really lovely looking bike. Is the two stroke tank integral with the fuel tank? That looks really neat. Who's the frame builder? Good luck with the build-can't wait to see it finished, especially with the old style two stroke ring-ding coming from a classic style Bimota,

I have some new pictures to share. Today I married the frame and the engine - it is so easy with this frame, you just lift the engine into place from below.

A quick update after a while - bodywork is now painted, one set of JEMCO pipes already on stock but way too loud for public roads, so I have ordered a second set and will modify them with a larger silencer portion and diffusion / absorption portion.
Please dont cruzify me for building this fake BIMOTA, trust me I much more preferred to own an original one - of course not one of the unaffordable and unavaialble HB1, but a KB1, KB2, SB1 etc...
So meanwhile I have my lookalike

WOW Wolfgangh,
your bike is a work of art, what a beautiful tribute to old school Bimota's.. with a two-stroke twist...
I hope you enjoy it for decades to come, congratulations on building your dream bike. _________________ Cheers

If I had a KB1 or KB2...I'd happily swap it for your GST750 HB1 inspired replica...that is a lovely bike you have there...no purists or crucifixions on here.... |

Too bad you dont have a KB2 Laser - my all time favorite bike. I‘d swop them happily.
Merry Christmas to all! |

Absolutely not! The fact that someone is willing to take the time out of their life to pay tribute to a Bimota is something that we as the fans are always grateful for! Merry Christmas! _________________ 1991 Bimota YB10

My approach was different to the beautiful HB1 replica of Artracing. I tried to use period correct parts and technology only, only tribute to modern tech is an ultra-small OLED instrument in the upper triple tree and a LiFePo4 battery hidden in the housing of a standard lead acid battery. All suspension parts, brakes, wheels, engine parts are from the 70s or 80s. Handlebars, rearsets and fuel cap are genuine BIMOTA parts; other parts are as close as possible copies. |

Today was a sunny day, took the chance to escape the christmas family meeting for a short while to take more pictures. I am overwhelmed by your positive feedback, it is worth a lot to me since you guys own some of the most exclusive, perfectioned motorcycles ever made.
