Hi Spongebob, my plans are ditto. Dyno, exhaust and Dymag. Larry and Rob are a good team. Can you please post pics of your exhaust, I will be looking at titanium option but keen to see what you have done. Mods are an addiction and Hard to escape.

Can I ask what is issue re bike being hot and fueling? My plan is to use the bike as daily run around so will see some traffic for sure.

Thanks

Babr

Believe it or not I dont have any pictures! I literally picked it up and took it straight to Larry who has had the bike since before Christmas. It was made for me by a guy called Alan Hawkes who is based in Banbury and was a recommendation via Honda SP1 forum. It's an exact copy of the standard fabricated in stainless so half the weight. He'll also produce in titanium or inkanel (excuse my spelling) but then costs are astronomical as he doesn't have the specialist tubing bending kit for these metals so radius have to built one welded seam at a time. I did speak to Racefit about them doing one in titanium but was quoted over £1000 which was a bit rich for me at the time.

SB6R has an electric fuel pump which some find problematic. I know of people who just by pass and gravity feed carbs with no issue. My issue was very much a one off and the temperature that day was extreme. They do get very hot under all that bodywork and i have heard of other issues that are heat related such as alternator bearings but I've not personally experienced this. I was riding between Oxford and Feltham a few times a week with no problems between May and September last year including in a massive thunderstorm and it ran faultlessly.

Only other thing I found is they do like a strong battery. Mine has an alarm and immobilizer fitted and unless the battery is really strong it wont start (even though it will turn over well).

The bike will be back in the next couple of weeks and i'll share pictures then but i'm sure if you speak to Larry at PDQ he'll take a couple of pictures for you if needed before.
