Following on from debate about the mispriced DB6 and KB1 at Craigs Honda... the YB5 "special' above (I use the word reservedly!) has been on sale at the listed £19995 for 2 years now! I have emailed the dealers and advised that the customisation wont probably appeal to any Bimota collector outside of Japan and there will be considerable cost in getting it back to standard. Yes Bimotas did sell for 'silly' money in Japan back in days of the bubble economy but that was with fat Japanese margins on fat Bimota margins.
I suggested politely that, with good used YB5 available at £10-£12k if they wanted to sell this that they should reduce price to £8k ish (it is below the skin zero miles)
Never got a reply and 3-4 months on its still for sale... at £19995 _________________ Not as many bikes as I would like and already too many to keep up with!
