I've voted for English edition, sounds like a great idea.

I'm in as well. What about a bi-lingual version?

At the moment no English language version, which must also reduce its appeal in Germany and Japan where English more likely to be a 2nd language. However no one is going to do that for just 20-30 copies. How do we get all territories to voice an interest in English version??

I will get the Italian version but really for the photos (I hope for some hiqh quality stuff here). Ideal solution to question of languages would have been a text in both english and italian. This way you would instantly make the book appealing across the globe while retaining a high flare of authenticity. I guess its too late now that the book is printed.

p.s. some may be hedging on buying this book for its future collectability, in the same way the bimota bible is today. with it being italian only, not sure if that is going to happen. as for me, i'll be sending away for an english-italian dictionary Laughing

I just received an email from the Bimota Classic Parts. They are asking me for the phone number, date and place of birth. I get the phone number and gave them my place of birth, but why would shipping docs need date of birth (and place of birth for that matter)? I don't give that information out freely as it can be used for identity theft, not that Bimota Classic Parts will do that but I just don't feel comfortable giving that information out. Hope I can still get my book though....

I'll appreciate if anyone can clarify that such information is necessary to export a book out of Italy...

Place of birth is used as a security question .... it's not something that would really be asked for in an email.
I would have refused it.

For anyone interested...the Italian publishing House is now discounting the "Bimota Gold" book for on-line orders....down to 80% of the price.....Thus its now 40 Euros plus 14 euros for postage to UK...FedEx.....other destinations available....or its 18 euros to UK for 4 books if anyone wants to share an order...it would be roughly 45 euros a copy delivered to my address....onward costs would be extra if not collected.

THis compares to Paolos Original price (BCP) of 65 euros posted from Italy to within Europe.....so 20 euros cheaper...they are also offering a signed copy by the Author....although this is a different person than Guiseppi Morri who wrote the book.....if you catch my drift

Link below...still only in Italian though...the book that is...website in English

I guess not much interest in the book then. I thought with limited print they would be spoken for.

I am still waiting to receive mine. Paid on April 16, no word n the book or whether it's been shipped or not. Sent an email to Paolo, hope to get a reply quickly...
