How the fudge are you supposed to change the oil, or even top it up, on an SB6? The only way you can get to the filler cap is if you drop the motor.

I was thinking of fitting one of those Goodridge fittings on the filler hole with a length of hose and a fitting with a cap on the other end but now I'm not sure that there is enough room for the fitting. Anyone fitted one or does anyone have any ideas

Just use a length of hose and a funnel..
And fill it slowly.

If you can't get the oil filler out then use the engine breather, put a hose and funnel onto it.

I was able to remove the filler plug on my SB6 using a ball end Allen key.
