Then service light on the KOSO clocks (the red spanner)...is only guided by the mileage and not the ECU feed...it first comes on at 1,000....roughly 670miles...for first oil and filter change...and then again at the scheduled service intervals in the handbook....it is a simple unit...only guided by pure mileage that the clocks cover

So when does the light go out?

It wont....until you reset it...which is achieved by having the engine "running"....but not moving...and you press and hold the start button for some 15 seconds (Yes the engine start button....not a button on the clocks)....upon which the red spanner service light will rest itself for the next service interval......

What clocks do you have on the bike? Is it an Oro Nero with Carbon frame/swinging arm?

Had Bob from Bimota Spirit run diagnostics on it today and it did have a #1 injector problem which I cleared and there appears to be a bad voltage regulator. It is putting out 17 volts and that is the only thing wrong. He seems to think it might be causing the light to come on. I will clean all the connectors and if needed get a new regulator. Fortunately it is a ducati part

It ended up being the voltage regulator causing the light to come on. The local Ducati mechanic said they have had problems with them
