Hi everybody,
my name is John, 35 years old, French, and I have a KB1. It' s a 1980 second serie.
The bike is in restoration since last year. Some modifications have been made:
- fuel tank made of alloy
- Brembo 300 full floatting front brake
- 4.25 x 18" Campagnolo rear wheel
- third serie rear saddle
I try too to register all the KB1 (number of frame, owner, country). An ambitious job, just per passion and love of this bike!
I can't post photo of my bike.
Best regards
John

Hi Carl,
we met in Bol D' Or Classic, I don' t remember if it is in 2006 or 2007.
You did not race the first session, on Saturday, cause engine problems.
Your bike is the #00395 or #00400, isn' t it?
Last week, I saw your post on Facebook when you start your KB1 after 7 years of sleep.
I live in South of France.

Hi John
Small world eh!!
Yes this is correct, i raced in the UK for a few years after, for fun and had some great times.
My bike is off to the dyno next week now it is running to run the engine in and set it up. The engine as it is now and was then is pretty much a race set up with much of the parts kept sensibly that can be used on the road. I think it will surprise a few people how much fun it can be.
Let me know how your bike goes and if i can help let me know.
Cheers
Carl |
