Finally here, first night in the books. Internet on the island is exactly like the situation was in Central America in the late nineties.

Looking forward to seeing some of you guys when you arrive.

Meslf and Vort and Mrs Vort back from the IOM TT....just back in time to have suffered most of the bad weather and missed most of the good weather....ah Well...cant expect sunny days all week every year...few piccies for you of bikes and the island

Rocked up outside the accommodation in sleepy Port St Mary.........

The pits Man......

Sleepy Peel town on a nice sunny day

Way up farthest North at the Point of Ayre

And into Ramsey

Some lady that seems to also own a pet????

Helpful reminder for foreigners to keep to the left (wing mirror)...must recall that for right side...

And continuance before Photobucket falls over..........

Into Castletown, continuing our aim to hit every village and town on the island....which is really just a 2 day affair to be frank.......

A rare oppurtunity up at the Bungalow...have never seen the Mountain circuit closed so often before...evidently more busy and more accidents than usual...they even lost a helicopter this year.....

A bit of the circuit and some pratice time for the race boys up at kirkmicheal

Port St Mary of an evening...this is as busy as it gets here...

And another day down to Douglas...its lunctime so it must be ice cream time.....

Belgian chocolate ice cream, bimotas and blue skies.....

And finally down to the Calf of Man...the most southerly point of the island...

and finally...boohoo...to close .....looking back at the island on the Ferry back home.........Ah well...till we meet again...

Nice pics - too long since my last visit. I was in Portimao at the weekend with about 15 others (total attendance!). Dreadful crowd for such a great circuit.

TT must have had all the bike fans!

been wall to wall sunshine here this week - even Brian would be impressed. Think you are right with the number of bikes here bleeding everywhere else dry. Plenty from the Eurozone. Only seen one SB6 this week, and the BB3 team in the paddock. Oh well better struggle into the sunshine for the Senior TT to wrap up a great week 😄😄😄

ha ha - We must have bumped into each other several times Laminator!

I was with a group of 8 guys - we did several laps of the circuit and had quite a few in the paddock bar by the pool as well as a few in the VIP hospitality suite.

Nice man Fernando Felli has promised to send me some "never seen before" photos of the trip also...coming soon to a Bimota Forum near you......

Oh No....yet another bimota "myth" shattered....the latest excerpt from Giuseppe Morri Himself re the 3 No. factory Vdues riding from Island to Island in 1997.........Another good reason not to buy his book...as if it aint in English...such gems would remain undiscovered to any non-Italian speakers...

"1997 Tourist Trophy! The three Bimota V2, in parade on the Man Island trail, mark the turning point (negative) for the project I was paying close attention to at the start. They were transported in a van to the track of the mythical TT circuit, letting believe (inside and outside the company) that they had traveled so many Kms. A buffalo that engraved on business choices that turned out to be bickering. A story that continues to amuse how many of these facts are known ... and Bimota really wanted
