Is it a "special" bolt...what bike is it for...a DB9?

Its been around a year since the factory shut down operations so I wouldn't be holding ones breath........

Normally the spare parts manuals also give you the length of the bolt....you already have the size and thread pitch so most bolt suppliers could help

Where the bolt is located ? If it’s on the engine, just contact Ducati...

I'm guessing...by the size and pitch , that its a front disc caliper retaining bolt...allen headed.....THey have shallow recesses and can "round" quite easily if the socket isn't securely fitted......Ducati front disc caliper bolts will fit although the heads aren't so nicely finished as on the Bimotas...but they do fit...and have a deeper socket recess for torqueing up...from memory they are slightly shorter in length but still have sufficient length for torqueing up properly

It's a special bolt looks the same on all the DB series holds the swingarm plate and the alloy plate to the frame 16 of them on the bike .
The catalogue part number is 507099010.
Thanks for help and it's a DB9

Hello".......do not contact the factory...It is dead

The bolt you require should be ex stock on the Bimota Classic Parts website

Failling this ...it can be got (maybe) from The German Bimota parts company
DRT something".....they advertise on eBay de

Hope this helps.......just make sure you have the correct part number ...this cuts through all languages

Gavin

Mickgrim,

YES............they are dead and as for WHY ....the answer is that the management team were neither capable of management or a team.

Strip an asset and move everything of value to a self storage depot or Switzerland.

Please do visit....but even the sign has been taken down from the building.

Sad and very annoying

regards
Gavin
