I’m a Bay Area Tesi 3D owner and decided to register for Quail on a whim. I’m looking for advice on:

1. How to get my bike down there. I don’t have a trailer and was not planning on riding it down (maybe, but I’d pick just about any other bike for touring).
2. What’s the best rear stand for parking a bike on the lawn?

I rode it down and put it up on a cheap pool stand. The show was amazing and I'll definitely be back!

I never replied. Apologies. The ride there and back was fine, but the traffic near the Oakland port and the heavy winds off the coast added a little bit of stress. I'm a big guy, so hours hunched over in the tight croutch of the Tesi is tiring. It's not a highway bike. My wife followed behind in our Fiat Abarth. Setting up early and casually hanging around and chatting with other participants was a whole new experience. It's the first time I've participated in a multi-day event with so many opportunities to meet enthusiasts and casually hang out. I hit some back roads with a friend of mine on his Monster which was a highlight. We rented out the main house at a small winery for the weekend, the digs were top notch. On the way back, I took the coastal route all-the way. It was amazing, except when I thought I was going to run out of gas and couldn't find a station for 20+ miles :0. The Tesi is a hit wherever it goes. Anyone on a bike can't help but stop, pause, and ponder, usually meaning a few questions, "What, How, Why?"
