Hi Brian,
only on facebook, but he hasn't really tried very hard... You have to search marketplace within 100km of Melbourne to see it... pretty crappy pics, but i spoke to Steve about it, and it sounded like a nice bike, i haven't seen it in the flesh yet.. _________________ Cheers

I'll see if i can find it. My SB6 came from Melbourne too, it had been sat in the previous owners lounge for 5 years. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I bought mine sight unseen, only going off photo's and the word of the dealer who was selling it on consignment. First time i saw it in the flesh was when it was delivered by the courier. I was lucky and it turned out good. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

My pick on bikesales .com woud be the DB7 i recon. I've been drooling over it for quite some time. Reassonable price compared to the others on there and i think i prefer the DB7 to the DB8 in general terms _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

The dodgy YB8 and a half stripped SB8 have been advertised on eBay.... I think some of the bikes Lech posted at IFOS looked interesting.. _________________ Cheers

I bought my YB7 from the guy who has the half completed imports. He has a hoard of the buggers in all states of disrepair and completeness. These will be the parts mules he's used to make the others. He imports from Japan.
I've bought most of my bikes site unseen - in fact I reckon my KLR650 and Panigale S are the only ones I looked at before purchase.... Set low expectations and you're always surprised...... _________________ pkay

It is the early EXUP engine (3GM) used in the Dieci. Hence the cartridge filter. The loom is a modified Yamaha item. The master cylinders are the Yamaha ones with a minor mod (can't say I like how they work with the Brembo calipers). Clocks are Yamaha items with replacement faces.

You’re right Katy, the Yam master doesn’t work well with the Brembo calipers at all. A modern radial master gives a much better feel, if you can cope with the loss of originality - I certainly can! _________________ What, Jonny's gone! |

Hi
On the brake side I have a Brembo master cylinder fitted (can't remember now but from either an Aprilia Falco or RSV1000).
Clutch side I have an adjustable lever on the standard Yamaha master cylinder
