His first road bike was a Ducati 851 and was on display at the top of the stairs leading to Bimota heaven.
His current ride at the time of my visit was a Triumph Thruxton
To his credit, he does admire things of beauty...............

I hope that the statement "admires things of beauty" & a picture of him standing next to a Mantra was a tongue in check statement Geekay.

News from Italy:
None!!!!!
Bimota has put on sale the last warehouse inventories.
If you need assistance or sales, just contact us "Bimota Classic Parts"
But it is a company completely independent of the "Bimota". |

I don’t think there is a real « impeto » that have been made, they just showed it once as a future project but that’s pretty much it. (And it’s reeeaaaally a shame...) _________________ DB8 biposto |

Beg to differ......Yup...there was a mock up that was shown at Eicma as below
And motorcycle specs covered it also
And here is the same bike being crated up before being sent to its hidden secret location....place of which is sworn to secrecy
And....there is a video of the test mule that also ran and was being tested....although it did look somewhat different from the pictures above....it certainly was running and screaming |

jeez... it's really magnificent.
Also, i've answered back to Valter, he then asked me for my phone number (??), dunno why because i've just asked simple things for my parts, just if they were available and their price.
Oh and i asked if there was any chance for them to sell an Impeto, i asked for you Gavin, maybe that's why he asked for my number ? _________________ DB8 biposto |

I offered to take whatever Impeto they had....with or without compressor
He informed me that production will commence this year....Sept or so 2018,
....but in the meantime there is a DB 7 and. DB9 Italia that could be purchased
Bimota back?............let us see in September or so.
Who knows...but the email was Valter @ Bimota and the cell was Switzerland
