Its different Smile
It doesn't look bad, just challenges what you think the norm is.

I like it as it is a pleasant change from the all too common garish paint jobs on modern machines. I love the subtle pastel colours used on older machines. I have a 1949 Panther sloper with a cream paint job and am doing a similar Panther for my wife that will be a light pastel green and cream paint job.

I think it's more subtle than you think, everybody has a preference

Even though I have a "panchant" for all things Tricolor.....I do like to see something different going away from the masses of "ferrari/Ducati Red/Yellow" and other race rep colours........

Car manufacturers have for some time now gone down the Dare to be Different route of subtle shades, pastel colours....or moreover using pallates used in the 60's and 70's....And I think its quite smart/cool/brave if a bike manufacturer took this route also......

The Borsalino Specials do seem to be something that Bimota have done before....as heres a special they did based on the DB5R..Maybe a bit too "blingy" with all the ally bits anodised in gold........but does look reminiscent of the Old JPS Special Lotus Formula one cars........

And for comparison

And just for the hell of it.....showing how 70's it is.... Laughing

PT cruiser in the background says the pic isn't as 70's as you think. But it does look very JPS

Hadnt realised....but the green brown DB6 is actually the "one off" Borsalino bike made for the hat company that makes fedoras.....and this bike goes with the DB5 and DB5R that Bimota also made for the Borsalino hat company in Black and gold....

Reminiscent of "green Frame" ducatis…...And Moto Corse are still going strong heavily modding and painting up Vyrus's, Ducatis …..theres a market...and its high end and very exclusive/….

This bike is correctly referenced as being one of Bimotas bikes made in the new L'oro Del Bimota (Bimota Bible MkII)...but no images were contained within of it.....

wtf is "beige" 2Bims? your favourite trouser colour? Very Happy

the "beige" on that DB6 looks more like un-painted resin panels. My NOS spare SB8R fuel tank looked just like that. In need of paint................
