Arsenic"......there are a db10 and a db9 on the German site and also on one of the others Leboncoin or Subito BUT no one has a DB9s

Currently looking for an full carbon S but also interested in that Tesi 3 going to auction in London next week end

I know that an DB9s is out there in OZ but when you add UK import tax and shipping it is just on the cusp of not viable

Anyone one out there, spot a DB9s in the EU....please ping me
Many thanks

Gavin

That’s ~19600 pounds, quite reasonable for an almost brand new db9 S.
It may be worth it to look at the importation paperwork, it’s probably easier for you since it’s part of the commonwealth...

Many thanks Arsenic

Yes I have made contact with the man from OZ.

2 issues really ....firstly...there is no CoC and it took forever to get one for the Vyrus...so..not keen

Secondly, CoC aside I 'could' persuade Tony to buy it BUT import, shipping and 20% VAT hits the attreactiveness....plus it is not my money but a friends.

Also and perhaps the BIGGEST issue is the suspension...rear end cured by Matris or Ohlins But the front can not be adjusted easily with ££ spent.

I am probably quite interested in doing it ....but again...it is NOT my bike.

Finally Walbro ECU....nightmare and as I am finding out ...any custom repacement is seriuos money.

I reckon that the DB9s needs some hefty money spent on it to sort out all the issues......

I am already into mine (non S) by another 8k ....but then I am fussy....but 4k minium is needed for what it SHOULD be.

The more I think of it the more Bimota and Harley Davidson are alike.

Both leave the development and finishing to the actual customer, but charge top money!

regars
Gavin

Oh damn, I though since your buddy is in UK, that you don’t have the 20% vat ...

That’s a shame...

About the suspension, did you took the extremetech to a pro to make it « enhanced » ? (Dunno the real English word for it but it’s « preparation » in french, you know, to set it perfectly for the user, with his weight etc...?

Also, if it’s on sale with a professional, did you try to negociate the price ? Bimota is hard to sell, maybe it can be lighted from a few thousands if bought quickly....

Edit : about the rear suspension, maybe Wilbers do some for the db9 ? I have one on my db8 and it works perfectly...!
