It was a great display organised by Lech at an awesome race event. Just a shame that Bimota events of any kind in Aus are non existent. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Bimota events are non existent throughout the World......only organised by like minded Bimota owners say on here and elsewhere....and I suppose...the likes of BCP do their bit in France and Italy also....and then theres Germany and Japan ….but again...led by the Club scene and the likes of Moto Corse
Outside of the Isle of Man TT....which is exceptional in attracting all sorts....I've only ever "bumped" into a fellow Bimota owner Once by chance, when I was also on a Bimota....and then steered him to this Forum..and have thus met since a few times......A few folk have asked if I'm doing the Mcr Bike Show again.....Hhmmmm…….Looking forward to this SUndays event....very low key and minimum hassle.....just rock up and show and ride away after....and then the BRands Hatch meet....a bit more hassle but potentially more fun than the Mcr show...and certainly...from the Main ORganisers point of view far far better led and run than the Mcr show.....who dont really care or know about bikes...and are just interested in selling the limited space they have available....Festival D'italia on the other hand...have infinite space...and without private owners bringing their cars and bikes...they're would be No show....and they have been totally efficient at running the event....confirming we are in within days...sending tickets out already...the Mcr show you apply up to 6 months before...and dont know if youre in until 2 weeks before the event...and then dont know the space you have been given either until a week or so before...and then you are expected to fill it ...running round last minute cajoling folk to bring bikes down at last minute.....Hard work |

Just read this thread, whew thats a lot of work but its worth it. Steve, you are correct that there are no Bimota shows anywhere, so I expect to see a lot of pics. Good luck and have a great time! _________________ 1991 Bimota YB10

Both John and Martin are out of the country at present time - John is somewhere in France and Martin is doing a track day at Brno. I will contact them when they return to the UK.
I am reliably informed that Gavin is attending, just not sure which bike he will be bringing along. _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

No - we can cancel them up to 1 day before the event so no need for a deposit.
Thanks for asking though. _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

Hi all, I'm afraid i wont be able to now make it as we are now moving house over this weekend. Apparently I am supposed to help....
You are welcome to borrow the Tuatara if someone is in the Oxford area with a van or trailer but I'm afraid I personally can't make it. Sorry!
