Gonna take some pics tomorrow and will post them, All bodywork cracked in a straight line along the full length of the bike (as in a kerb).
After looking properly tho it is just shock cracks and should be fine when repaired.
The bad news is that it has snapped a lug off the frame where the footrest hangers mount and it has bent and fractured the side stand mount on the frame.
Oh and it busted my brand new screen which was only put on after the new paint job 2 months ago..... to say I am gutted is an understatement.

Tank damage

Tail piece damage... This dont look too bad but it actually took the hardest hit and has crazed the paint all over and badly cracked the tail unit.

and finally the frame damage

broke off one of the lugs that hold the rearsets on, luckily I know a good aluminium welder and fabricator who can sort it out along with the side stand mount.

Thankfully it is all repairable and I am getting good at it now after the last time it happened, I'm just gutted that the summer is here and I am off the road at the moment and this paint job is very time consuming.
This time ound the side stand will be getting modified tho.

Whar he said!
I'd to have a frame lump brake off like that.
Especially this time of year.

It all looks worse than it is. worst bit being the frame damage. Did exactly the same on a SB6. Had the lug welded back on from the front only, to get me back on the road and six months later dropped the swing arm and had the back of the lug welded. Both times I had to run a tap through to clean up the thread and dress the weld back so everything fitted nicely Wink

well... repairs get under way in the next week, after further investigation the damage aint that bad really it is just the paintwork that is time consuming.
Anyway... after much thought I have decided that once it is repaired it will very likely be up for sale (form an orderly queue lol).
Sensible offers are invited via PM. Thanks guys.
