Not sure what I'll do with this one, no need to buy the first one I see and it's a long trip for what might prove a fruitless haggle.

In the meantime here is another from the site suggested by Roger correct discs, I presume, mismatched indicators and no transfers on the main fairing crash damage?, external fuel taps by the rear shock and perhaps something missing from the mirror mounts inside the fairing?

www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/bimota-sb6/895878905-305-6636

.

Mirrormounts are correct....the mirrors have 2 No. brass pins that push into spring clips on the back of the fairing bracket support arms...and then theres one central bolt to secure on each mirror...yeh..looks fussy...but thats what it is.....Seems to be missing its steering damper....RHS down...you can see the SD bracket on the RHS front fork but no damper attached to it....dont know whether these bikes need one??….as you say...missing the SB6 logo on the fairing.....and the "straight connection technology" wording.....but maybe the bike never came with them??….Both bikes look sort of OK...especially for the money....its around a 1/3rd of what the bikes would have been when new....and for what you get they remain a relative bargain in that era of sportsbike production.....A lot lesser Big Jap 4 bikes are creeping into that price bracket from the same era but were far cheaper when new and not a patch on what bimota did....not their fault...but they were having to build and price competitively against each other...Something that Bimota never had to worry about...as there was no competition in their price bracket in the market place

No one fancy "rescuing" this one?

https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/bimota-750/879500655-305-6444

Free bucket and sponge provided for anyone that saves it....says 750...but has "spare" bodywork....and then shows SB7 fairing later.....

Good pickup on the steering damper 2bims, I hadn’t noticed. Not a big deal I don’t think as they aren’t a high quality unit and the SB6 doesn’t really need it anyway

Zooming in, even on out of focus low res shots always helps, you'd think the seller would at least have brushed a layer of dust off...high price....and in Croatia....dem bims get everywhere

Standard disks are the iron rich floating type. The carriers apparently give an indication to the wearing surface material.

Click on "Huge thumbnail and then click on link under title "BBCode message Boards and Forums" (2nd from bottom)...it does what it says on the tin

Yup....the rotors tell a story always....Pork pie and pizza pieces are Deep dish large offset for Oscom wheels...Pizza pieces and peperoni slices are flatish CI full floaters....for Antera and Marcehsini wheels

50 pence piece and ice cream cone cutouts are flat SS discs as used on Db4 and Vdue and Antera rims (couldn't think of a food related analogy for the 50p coins)

Yup....the rotors tell a story always....Pork pie pieces and pizza slices are Deep dish large offset for Oscom wheels
,DB2, 1st Sb6, Most YB'S 4 onwards excl YB5/9/11 - Cast iron full floaters

...Pizza pieces and pepperoni slices are flatish CI full floaters....for Antera and Marcehsini wheels - YB11, Antera and Marchesini wheel SB6's

Then theres later SS 320mm brembos....fixed bobbins...flat discs...DB4 and Vdue or 50 pence piece and ice cream cone cutouts as I call them...or asparagus spears for posh folk, used on Antera rims (couldn't think of a food related analogy for the 50p coins)

And then theres just plain 320mm brembo SS used by Ducati and later 2005 onwards Db5/Db6 etc
