After making the decision to go from these.............
which look pretty but don't work, I thought I might as well change the handlebar fairing as well as the clocks being as the MOT tester said the headlights don't have a beam pattern so will fail the MOT. It's only a cheap, nasty fairing anyway just to get the bike on the road.
so in the skip they go, oh dear, what have I started
Never mind, new clocks fitted
And job done, still not sure if I'm happy with the new headlight fairing but it can stay till the end of the season. It's far too much fun to ride so I expect I'll be getting a letter from Gordon Brown asking for more tax to be paid on it
Yep, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but it's an absolute hooligan and I cant stop smiling for hours after I've put it back in the garage |

Clocks look alot better - those old clocks are used on so many bikes the Bimota range.
and its got the Robbiano-Bimota look about it - its the headlight I think... |

Lovely job Oily. They are a belter when they're running properly aren't they. One of the best kept secrets in biking I reckon. _________________ What, Jonny's gone! |

Hey Oily
what fairing is that you have on your bike. It looks great and a nice way to convert if we run out of fairings _________________ Riding a bike is only as dangerous as your mind and level of training. The rest is up to God. |

Hello oily
nice looking bike. Where have you moved the battery to?
Have you kept the two 6v batteries or converted to single 12v? _________________ gerrylecount |

Gerry, It' a SB6R not a SB6.
Battery is located in the front of the petrol tank as standard
If your thinking of moving your batterys on your SB6, it's gonne be a lot of hassel, I've only seen one other road going SB6 with the battery moved to where the air box used to be. He was running individual filters and it ran like a bag of spanners |

A common misconception gerry, the sb6 (or everyone of the 4 I've owned) have two 12v battery's not 6v
If you look at the battery leads, you'll see the battery's are wired in parallel not in series |

They are 12 volt, 6 ah, where most batteries (non-SB6) are 12 ah. |
