Gentlefolk of the Forum
Are we or you doing a Post Brexit stand off at Madchester next year.
...seems like a good idea if someone like me is NOT organised in the actual planning of it all!
regards

Well, that solves that issue...I thought it had to do with GeeKay and his hair removal cream.
2Bims...surely if you were going to get involved it would be a Bimota stand?
Anyway...long winter nights, projects to be getting on with and the Madchester show gave a natural time table to get things finished off by.
BTW ....Pidcocks have a DB9 For sale £20999.......who Owned that?
Regards

Steve's the man if you want a show stand organising.
As for me - been there (from the start), seen it (grow from not much) and got the t-shirt (well, to be honest, 2 that Steve gave me cos they didn't fit him).
Like Steve this year, if I display a bike again it will be on someone else's stand - rock up, drop bike off, wander around, leave.
Come to think of it, I have never seen a Cagiva Elephant display.................you could probably squeeze 10 of them into the space we had allocated in 2017? _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

I not sure 2bim's is allowed back into the Manchester show TBH.
I've had the stand in my name before so don't mind applying again.
Still got all the mats/banners/popups/flags/Bimota frame display/vdue engine display etc so happy to supply as usual and bring along 4/5 Bimota's again as usual.
Can also do some of the pre-show organisation/layout as before and do group clothing/banners/flags/mat buy's as before and open to any new suggestions as have a host of templates and images that could be applied to Bimota regalia
I can't attend all weekend however as have family commitments ( can be there friday afternoon and sunday from 10ish as usual) , can't do collections/deliveries (unless the odd one within 5 miles as used to help 2bims as did Lammie) , can't do B&B for fellow members and can't devote endless amounts of time as got family/job/life to organise also.
So if there are others who are happy to devote a bit of time between now and the show and a few that are willing to help at the actual show weekend Friday afternoon/evening , all day Saturday and early Sunday ( I live an hour away and will have 3 girl's to organise Sunday morning) then shout up and I can get a stand.
However Gavin I guess the usual vort curse will apply and that will be the end of that. |
