SB6r low fuel warning light trouble

Hi all, iam having trouble with my low fuel warning light , it lights up for a few seconds when I switch the ignition on then goes out , even if the tanks full or empty . Has anyone had the same trouble or more importantly does anyone know how I can get it too work Cheers all

The common fix is to unscrew the bulb. The indicator is, if fully functioning, useless anyways. Just orient yourself on the Km Clock.
My SB6 is good for >160km.

It's supposed to do that. It runs the fuel pump for the same couple of seconds.

my SB6R had a vacuum fuel pump (which I have since removed).
