Has anyone thought about installing a 1098S or 1098R engine in the DB7? How easy would it be? |

Someone on here did swap out the entire fuel injection system from a Duc 1098 onto a bad running DB7....full wiring loom, ECU and clocks.....Engine is the same....the 1198 will also fit as this went into the DB8.... |

Evidently the 1098R engine like from a troy Corser rep is actually the 1198 engine......As vort says...its down to wiring...you will be chopping and changing a lot to stretch to various things in the place that Bimota fitted them as opposed to where Ducati fitted them....I used to think that they used a standard Ducati loom for the more modern bikes...but now think its a purpose made unit |
