Tuatara for sale.... open to sensible offers over £10,000
I bought the bike in March 2015 from The Bike Specialist (Sheffield), who had purchased a job lot of bikes from an Italian shipping magnate (there was a Tesi 1D and an SB8 if I recall). It had 1,200km on it (on a km 'clock') when I purchased it.
I am the second owner, although the V5 shows no previous owners as it has been imported.
This actual bike is the one in the Sarti book.
I bought this beautiful machine having searched for a good Tuatara for ages...as one of around 60 they don't come up often.
I had the bike recommissioned by Simon at Race Engineering, and an Ohlins rear shock fitted, along with updated front brake master cylinder and brake pads. All liquids were replaced and new spark plugs fitted. I also had a Power Commander fitted. Tyres were renewed with Michelin Pilots.
Bike runs and rides beautifully.
Bike is now showing 3,250km, so around 2,000miles.
Condition is grade A. I don't believe it has ever seen rain.
There are a few very minor paint blemishes (I can send pics by PM to interested parties), and a couple of the bulbs in the LCD display don't light (indicators and high beam, so nothing critical).
MOT'd to 22 April.
Comes complete with 2 sets of keys, original leather keyfob, A4 hardback owners handbook (monogrammed with frame number), original paddock stand and original Tuatara tailored indoor cover.
I am only selling as I am planning to retire to somewhere where the opportunity to ride the bike are very limited.
I am in no hurry to sell, so will wait for the right buyer at the right price.
If you want an original no stories Tuatara I think you will find it hard to find a better one (ignoring those zero milers in plastic wrap that have never run and may cost £££ to get running!)
Please PM me. Happy to chat and send more photos.
Located SE London borough.

Open to offers over £10,000, which is not unreasonable for a Tuatara (1 0f 60) with great history and condition... see advert on the Forum first posted January.... _________________ Bellaria (owned from new 1991), only one left after emigrating from UK. Ahem...for the eagle eyed amongst you the photos do have the mirrors mounted incorrectly (thanks Steve!!!)... they are now correct. But I can't be doing with reloading new photos to Photobucket etc. £1 discount applies.... _________________ Bellaria (owned from new 1991), only one left after emigrating from UK.
