Hi Everyone, The electronic gauges on my 1997 YB11(But I think common to a few models) have died. The speedo went haywire first then the tacho stopped about an hour after. Is this a common problem with an easy fix? or do I need professional help. Thanks Rich C. |

Hi Rich
Yep, fairly common problem but not an easy fix unless your an electronics wiz.
Even when they are working they are wildly in-accurate |

Thanks Oily. I thought as much but was hoping anyway. I know what you mean re accuracy, but officer...the speedo said I was only doing 100. Rich. |

Hi Rich
I run a SPA programable clock in mine as my clocks went the same way. Its not the cheapest to put in but looks good in a carbon fibre mounting I made and is bang on accurate when matched to my satnav Nige |

Hi Nige, Would love to see a photo of your set up, I guess I will be doing something similar. Thanks Rich |

Here's a SPA/carbon dash I built back in the day for my first SB6. Expensive clocks, couldn't afford to build one these days with spa prices
Excellent bit's of kit though

It's not just the electric speedos that are inaccurate. I think the factory "tuning" on the YB10 amounts to moving the numbers around the dial a bit. |

Why not use a Koso dash - they supply the dashes for the DB7 _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Click the img button then past the "direct link" and then click img button again.
Looks good - I'd paint the inside of the fairing satin black but that's just me _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
