I contacted Ignitech.cz and ask them for a replacement possibility.
As the DB6 is using a 1100 Hypermotard engine it might be possibe to use their ECU, costs 298 Euro + shipping.
But one has to source the Pegaso connector (male or female, I am not sure). |

I am afraid it is not possible to change the ECU only. One has probably to change the wiring and the dashboard.
SBKgarage (http://www.sbgarage.it/) does the job changing the whole wiring and installing a new ECU. Not very practical for you, I suppose.
Perhaps one could adapt the whole wiring of the hypermotard. |

Why shoudn't it be possible
It's just a computer with ignition and injection timing for given amout of air. |

I based my suggestion on what I have been told and I have seen from other people who had the same problem. But as a matter of fact I am not an expert in electronics and you might be right.
