The bimota (At least currently) has no intention to start production in Rimini.
I was this weekend in Rimini and I went right past the current factory,I found it as abandoned, without anyone, without any soul around.
Personally, I wrote to several Italian motorcycle magazines, if they could clarify the current production situation, They replied that they also know nothing and if that if they try to cover them, no one answers.
The only one who can do anything is the Bimota Classic Parts and that's it.
Bimota is dead, nobody knows his destiny ... and they do not even want to sell |

Moreover, I have read that in Bimota, they have fired all the employees, except for two people.
So I deduce that there will be no production |

At least here in Italy, nothing is known,
I have not read anything, no magazine talks about it or websites.
I live both near the historical site of Bimota and at Bimota Classic Parts.
I hope it is as you say and that there is positive news |

If so I would be happy,
but in Italy the rumors say that they don't want to sell...and knowing the Italian economic situation, I doubt that there is anyone willing to buy the company....
Hopefully good then |

Shall we start with rumour and conjecture then while we are waiting. I'll go first.
Chinese motorcycle manufacturer looking for top end premium motorcycle brand to fill out their range enters into discussion with the owners of the defunct Bimota brand.
Or
Royal Enfield or Hero looks to buy satellite top end manufacturer the defunct Bimota operation for technology transfer and to enter premium market away from current brands as a way to satisfy increasing demand for larger capacity premium motorcycles amongst India's wealthy middle class. Technology to also be applied to smaller capacity bikes for the traditional market.
