UK bike from new? Not on the Swiss bimota register...Anyone on here??...turned its wheels for a couple of hundred miles each year.....

Optimistic pricing? Or Encouraging pricing?...Discuss....

Hmmm. What wheels are those? No green fork sliders. Brake rotors are different too. The wheel, forks and brakes looks like earlier model items...

A search in google images shows most EF's appear to have Antera wheels and the green fork outers, but there are a few that have these wheels (ozcam?) and the more standard silver fork outers

And you get some with grey hammerite style paintwork to the frames...discs on this one are the deep dish full floating cast iron brembo 320mm discs....same as on the first edition DB2's...the oscom wheels have very narrow hubs and are nice and light compared to the antera wheels.....Very typical Bimota though.....a "Final Edition" is more a case of "Lets use what bits we have left to finish off a run".....All still nice....but often the case that theres differences...

Not necessarily so...I've seen a few Db2FE's with that frame finish....I prefer the red frame as its more distinctive.....Who knows with Bimota...I dont think they knew themselves.....I suppose the silver engraved plaque on the filler cap is the only part that might run through the Ltd series made....

$13,370 USD?!

If it were here...and cheaper, I'd trade or sell my DB6 for it, then do a big motor build with 41mmFCRs.

Very Happy

Prices are all askew at the moment across the world....We have the worst exchange rate ever against the USD and against the Euro also at the moment...making UK bikes for sale seem cheap to other parts of the world....I look at EU bikes and think Jeeso...thats dear....When I was buying from Italy, Holland, Germany etc....the Euro was 1.45 to the GBP....and we're 1.27 to the USD.....12 years ago it was $2.00 to the Pound

Would you fancy it at $21,000 ???

The only up for UK folk is if youre selling.....Be it bikes or parts.....there should be more demand from Outside......And then theres those poor aussie boys...we have been 2.60AUD to GBP....down now to 1.85...but has been down to 1.46......

I always seem to be either:

Property Rich - Cash Poor

- or -

Motorcycle Rich - Cash Poor.

They never seem to coincide. Like having money for the parts but not for someone else's labor so I could sit and watch someone else work for a change.

Funny, it never seems to be "Cash Rich" either. Hmm... Confused

Didn't that one have 43mm forks? I think this one may be same bike posted in 2017 at ‘Made in italy’?
https://www.madeinitalymotorcycles.com/post/2016/11/25/bimota-db2-ef-1997.. certainly looks clean!
