If you follow the links you can use the zoom in function on photobucket - you can see the airbox insitu, the back of the fuel tank is supported by the airbox.
I'd leave your carbs with the pod filters on, your engine's set up for them and the airbox is to small for the bike

HI Evil C`,only just spotted this, Thankyou Smile
I am a bit confused as to how I keep pod filters AND air box? If the airbox supports fuel tank,it has to stay.Or could I make a bracket to do that job. I sent an E mail to Glen Wilson re; workshop manual but no return yet. I`m going back to the house next week to see if the air box is there, fingers crossed.
.......Can`t wait to ride the Beast Very Happy

Sorry if I wasn't clear - I'd go with the pod filters because that's how the bike was running before.

Have a look at http://www.bimotaforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=548 the picture near the bottom of the first page shows how they support the tank - not sure if it will be the same on yours but that's for when you get the bike together.

Glen's alright Smile he'll sort you out

`allo again, just had a look at the link.It seems the owner has 2 upright support bars with bobbins to take the Tank. Not too tricky. Wink
Thanks again.

I'm just raising this again - I need some pictures of the airbox / carb rubbers and an internal dia on the airbox side

I'll get you a pint Cool
