.This is the color of my ngk b9evx candles

High cylinder
Main jet 330
needle k76
Starting jet 60
Minimum jet 120/40

Low cylinder
Main jet 225
needle k76
Starting jet 60
Minimum jet 120/40

The bike seems to go rich in carburation .... air temperature 32 large
But the color of the candle seems just enough to not seize
The candles has 260 km

I can't recall the colour but they have in in for 3 to 4,000 klm & still ok. The front plug occasionally miss fires on start up but clears ok.
Your plugs look quite oily. What is your fuel/oil ratio? Last time I looked mine was about 50:1

my gas oil ratio is around 40: 1 I kept the bike full of oil because I took a motorcycle ride this week and it was 260 km and I wanted to stay safe .... I increased the main jet by 10 points to keep the bike safe .... the spark plugs were checked after the lap and I thought I had darker wheels because of the oil and the 10 points more than the main jet

This is what I have done to the carburettors on my V-due.
1. Turned the throttle stop screws five full revolutions from closed.
2. Turned the air screw out two and a half turns from closed.
3.Lowered needle jet by one notch (need slim socket)
4. Standard main jets 220......Ngk B9ES spark plugs.

The bike now pulls smoothly from tickover (1200/1400 revs) to full throttle
with no roughness, hesitation or hunting.
As yet I have not altered the oil pump but I will soon.
I hope this helps.

I have Jolly motos exhausts.......the carbs are standard dellorto's set up
the way I have stated, it runs perfect.
I think if you put your carbs back to standard and set them the same as mine
you will be very happy. I would also put the original Ngk plugs back in.
Regards mick.

I don't know what size the sprayer (needle jet) is. Everything is standard as it came from Piero.
The biggest improvement was to lower the needle that is attached to the
throttle slide by one notch (you will need a long slim 8mm socket)
I will check all jets for future reference as soon as possible.
Mick.
