We have some funny import issues around tanks and asbestos and the like which shows up in some of the missing bits on bikes offered. The BB that were offered were a classic example.
Given I have the YB5 in the wings I'll let this one go. See what he asks for the SB......... _________________ pkay

I found the Centrepoint guys much easier to negotiate with in person. They barely budge on their ebay prices but in person I got a reasonable deal _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Its bizzare Brian that they pull the bikes apart in such a random way. I would buy that Mantra but there is so much missing from it. Then you look at the incomplete one for sale and it has all the missing bits off the other. Plus they also have the missing items for sale separately. I have thought about asking them to fix it up..... _________________ pkay

Yeah Paul, they have no idea about Bimota models, they made that very obvious when I was there in person. I was reasonably lucky with the partly dismantled DB4 that I bought off them, a few missing parts but most of whats on it is correct. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
