I need help? 1996 SB6. My speedo drive body has cracked. Is this a standard (Ducati?) item? or a similar italian source?
Any help appreciated in getting a replacement. Thx. |

Seems no body knows the answer to that bruce
Mine look like gsxr items but without pulling a front wheel out and measuring the spindle......
If it is a gsxr item, I've probably got one some where |

I though Yamaha .... maybe both manufacturers used the same supplier afterall it's a 120/65 17 tyre and most bikes use that.
You can use a Yamaha speedo cable, they don't break as easily as the Suzuki ones. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

I'm pretty sure you can use one from a Ducati with a 25mm axle. 916-998. Also 900ss '99+. |

Thank you gentlemen.
I was thinking around the Ducati speedo idea.
It looks similar.
I would imagine they'd source it within country.
I'll drop it into a Ducati agent and see what they have to say.
Thx. Ken Bruce |

It might be too late now, but I passed on some bad info that was passed on to me. I measured my front axle the other night and you need speedo drive for a 20mm axle. Check the earlier 900SS (93-98 ). |

Thx. I'm tackling a boiling problem at the moment,. I'll track down the 20mm drive when i can stop making roadside tea from the cooling system. Much appreciate the advice.
the GSXR 1100 isn't the cap they used..Just another 25,000 rad caps to try - |

Oh dear, I'm hoping it's not what I think it is
Don't think the rad cap will make too much difference to boiling on this system |

Don't bother looking for a replacement rad cap, you'll never find one. You need to get a new neck made up that will take one of the readily available caps. _________________ What, Jonny's gone! |
