Hi all,
Its been a while since I was on here. I sort of got sidetracked being back racing again.
Unfortunately, the BB1 is now up for sale. Its been sitting there looking gorgeous and not getting used and thats a sin.
No 128 of 148 made.
Since I bought it its done about 1300 km which brings the total KM to 2929.
Its on an 02 plate (good number too) and was very late registered.
Since I've bought it I've done the Twin disc conversion on the front which is crazy overkill for something that weights as much as a fag packet Comes with original hose to refit if required). I've also completely stripped the engine and replaced the soft as butter selector forks that are in the original F650 engine with the hardened uprated version. No matter which Supermono you buy, if this hasn't been done, it *will* need to be done. This ones done!
Marks on the bike? Well theres one small stone chip in the front from following a friend and the rear shock adjustment ring is marked from a previous owner using a screwdriver and hammer, instead of a C spanner, to adjust it. New ones can be found very easily. There are some slight crazing marks in the laquer around the tank unit mounding bolts. I was quoted £30 to fix them. Overall the condition is outstanding!
Full Paolli suspension and Bembo throughout. Carbon everywhere. Its Datatagged too.
Insurance group 13. Cost me 192 a year to insure fully comp.
I'm looking for £3250 (no offers I'm afraid. It owes me a grand more than that).
Any questions let me know. My mobile is 07734983743
Its sorned at the moment and I'll put a full MOT on it for the buyer.
Very sorry to see it go but its not getting used.
All the earlier niggles are now fixed. Turned out to be just old petrol in the tank!! (and haven't shown themselves for months so its good to go.).
I can also put some decent Super corsa Pro's on it for the new owner too and I also have the *original* tyres in storage in case you want to show it as a classic.

Sold to a fine, upstanding member of the forum!
I'm sure she'll be very happy as part of a herd instead of sat here on her own!
Enjoy!

Accusations seem to be coming thick and fast nige and you know what they say about smoke and fire
Couldn't possibly be true about a bimota owner. |
