I own a BB1 Biposto with 1500 km on the clock.

It might only have a few miles on it but I'm just about to give it a full engine strip down to replace the legendarily weak second gear.

I'll try and get a step by step picture guide and put up any pointers for others to use in case it happens to them. I'll also add any other relevant information as it comes along.

Cheers,
Carl

Hi

Not heard of the gearbox issue. Biggest issue I have heard is the chain wearing rapidly through the slider on the swinging arm before chewing that up (normal fix was a larger front sprocket and playing with the rear to keep the gearing acceptable).

All the best

Keith
