As per this Advert...and yes...its my bike
https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1196493
Only 6 pictures allowed on those ads....so heres some more....I dont need a "thread" going on this...if your interested then Message me ...thanks...
Square bodied Mikuni Flat Slide carbs
With a little practice and confidence..all bodywork is off in less than 5 minutes...
Early Aluminium Fuel tank and crankcase breather tank....Titanium exhaust bandage to headers to reduce heat transfer to very tight fully enclosed fairings that these bikes have
New Brembo Gold series Clutch and front brake masters fitted plumbed into existing iconic Reservoir "bottles" fitted to the tops of the Marzocchi M1R forks....these have adjustable levers for reach...I was struggling with what I call "reverse dog leg" levers on the originals...making it a LONG reach and hard pull on both clutch and brake...I still have the originals of course
Marzocchi rear shock with remote click adjuster
Exhausts have been opened up a little to help with the modified breathing and meatier carbs

If it were closer to me or if I could afford to buy it and ship it to Aus, id definitely ride it. Ive never ridden a DB1 but from all accounts the size of it would suit me to a tee _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
