I decided to sell my YB11 because I am running out of space. I sold my all custom 2003 Aprilia Falco and immediately bought 2007 Aprilia RSVR Bol D’or version. Could pass the uniqueness. Also bought something even more unique then Bimota 2002 Mondial Piega. So, I decided to sell Yb11 to update/renew my collection.

Bike is now 9-9.5 out of 10. I did a lot of work on this bike and I am thankful to everyone who shared their know-how and recommendations. This forum is invaluable asset for any Bimota owner.

I am definitely staying in Bimota family with my SB8K SantaMonica

Here is my bike

https://www.ebay.com/itm/362935720971

I can also ship this bike overseas if needed

No bites yet?

Seems to have been listed well, and got good coverage.

I had thought about making you an offer.
Will be honest, the repaint was the deal breaker for me personally.

Note yet. But as you know Bimota is not for everyone.

I am not sure why the repair would be a deal breaker. The bike is 23 years young. It's a known fact that the bodywork is very thin and prone to spider cracks. If no one took care of bike and it was just sitting anyone would have to go thru a maintenance. I am very anal when it comes to my bikes and make sure that everything is 100%+. I want everything as close to new as possible.

As of now that is the condition of the bike. Close to new. If you want to see it I can ride upstate to Bear mountains and you can ride down from Albany and see it in person. I am actually planning to go for a ride on a weekend weather permitting

For me I actually am trying to stay away from absolute perfection.
Paint has always been a weird quirk for me. I like the original paint.

I talked to Iconic about a couple of the bikes they listed.
Were either silly numbers, or zero miles.

I gave a lot of thought to their SB8Rs and SB8K, but just can not bring myself to ever have a zero mile bike. Would just hang a poster on the wall, just as useful.

Well, I ride All my bikes. I don't care if they are super rare.

I want to enjoy what I got.I am not buying any bike just to look at it. I spread my love and alternate between all my bikes but definitely get to ride them all.
It just I am running out og garage space and that is why I decided to sell this one. I want to stay will all fuel injected bikes

A good re-spray will often be better than the original paint job anyway, as long as the colour match is good. Although Bimota paint jobs were usually really good from the factory. If it were in Australia it would have been snapped up in a flash. It’s a really nice looking bike mate Cool

You ended up buying that mondial from iconic?
I kicked myself for not going after that.

How have you liked it?

Yes, I did. That is another reason I need some extra space.
Bike is still in CA and waiting on some paperwork.

As you know the weather wasn't great here anyway, so I am not worried at this time.

I am sure I will love it. What's not to like? Italian design flair, top rated components with Honda RC51 engine.

Super unique, beautiful and reliable. I am just hoping this situation that we got will pass sooner then later

Yes, I'm not precious about my bikes and try to ride all of them. Otherwise I wouldn't race the YB8.

It's difficult when the number of race bikes exceeds the number of race meetings a year. I've still managed to race 5 of them in the last year - 2 x TZ250s, VFR400, RD250LC and SRAD GSXR750. Then you have to manage tyre age, then there are the 4 sets of wheels with wets.....

I'm not complaining though. I love riding all of them. Then there is my road bike, my vintage enduro bikes, dirt bike. They are all getting a bit of a forced holiday at the moment.

@Falcolion

The Bol d'Or is a great bike. Only Italians can make those colors come together and pop on the motorcycle.

Perhaps Adam can help you find the buyer for your YB11.
