Just got the Vyrus road ready and MOT'd..fitted front alloy fairing thingy and tail light assembly
...and VERY disappointed in the performance.
My 999r elefant (another Tamburini designed bike) could easily beat everywhere..
...really hacked...so much style...carbon brakes and wheels...quicker shifter, the very best ZARD Ti special exhaust and even
graphic design by Rossi's chosen artist...Drudi Designing of San Marino simply could not mask the frustration felt
....worse than a teenager who just stole a crate of lager only to discover it was zero alcohol type
At the side of the road trying to figure out what and why it is so bad......pushed some buttons
Turns out I had hit Pit Lane speed limiter and it was set on
...50 kph......pushed button...Gentle Jesus and hail to the Virgin Mary....this thing is a rocket ship.
Now ready for Madchester.........bring some ear plugs
Regards

Technology and old people... Never mix well....lent my sons dt125r to a two stroke nut and mechanic at Duc mcr today...he reliably informed me its unrestricted and ypvs valve kicks in at 6-10 though...when it takes off like a scalded kitten....I'd been changing up at 5 though....doh!!!.... |

Following on from Old people and technology........
checked the MOT which was done just before the Manchester show to discover....the bike had done just over 2100 miles in a week!
Old , I may be but I would have Remembered that road trip!
Turns out that the previous mileage was 4127 or so and when the tester pushed the odometer...he chose KPH nd entered that value as the miles
I have to appeal to DVSA ....they are coming out to inspect it....to make sure that it has not been rung...then a replacement MOT will be granted...
..a V5/55 and it goes on the market place with the correct miles
Sad but true...

Hello...
It has been quite a while since it has gone but I found a photo....like you do.
A bit like an old girlfiend and looked again at the curves and lines.
Absolutely beautiful but really demanding and a bit of hard work...to be honest.
Not too sure if the commitment was worth the squeeze....if you get my drift.

Still.......it ticked the boxes and made folk very envious...pity that does nothing for me.
So off it went ........
regards
Gavin

Lovely Gav. I’m 99% sure I wouldn’t be able to sell something like this.... although I’m 100% sure I wouldn’t be able to afford to buy something like this ☹️ _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
